Please do make us aware of any special requirements you may have along with any allergies or dietary requirements in your party and we will be happy to accommodate.
For all reservations we require card details to secure your booking. These details are securely kept with a third party called Stripe and will only be charged if the cancellation terms are not met. We politely ask you to contact us if you are running late as we can hold tables for 15 minutes and will release it if we have not been contacted.
No money will be taken from the card unless in the event of a no show/last minute cancellation/drop in numbers we will charge the card £10 per person via the stripe card system. Failure to pay the bill on the day your card will automatically be charged.
Please include all people in your party, including children that will not be eating. This is to ensure enough room for a highchair, car seat or pram.
If you request a specific table, please note that whilst we will try our best to accommodate such requests, sometimes it is not always possible.
Every person in your party must have a main meal or equivalent.
We do not book tables for ‘drinks & nibbles’. If you are just wanting nibbles – you can try and grab a walk-in table on the door, which we (unfortunately) cannot guarantee.
Sunday roasts are sold on a first come first served basis. We cannot guarantee that we will have any available at the time of your booking, unless you call in advance and request for us to reserve some for your booking, especially for bookings later on in the day.

Tables of 8 people and above require a pre-order 48 hours before their booking. Our menus are available on our website under ‘menus’.
Our specials change fortnightly. You call up or email to find out what our specials are, if this is something you are interested in.
We request all starters and mains are included. You can order desserts on the day however to ensure you have enough allocated time, please also include these in your pre-order.

All December bookings will be contacted a month before the booking to pay a £10pp non-refundable deposit. If there is a reduction in numbers, or a whole table cancellation, you will forfeit the paid deposit per person.
We offer AA 4 Star self catering accommodation and en-suite rooms, all of which are situated in the heart of the busy market and festival town of Ulverston, therefor handy for everything. All our accommodation is tastefully decorated to the highest standard.
